You’re officially cool now.
Welcome to my welcome site! Here you can find more information about how to best prepare for your session.
What do I wear?!
Obviously I want you to be comfortable during the shoot, but I also want you to feel CONFIDENT. Wear something that makes you think "damn I look good". Now if you hate your arms, buy a dress or shirt that has longer sleeves. If you hate your stomach, don't wear a skin-tight dress. Be aware of bras hanging out or underwear lines. I can edit some basic things out, but I will not edit a ton! Buy moms outfit first and then get the rest of the family's clothes to compliment mom. No super busy patterns. No stripes or logos. Just keep it simple!
Neutral colors always look good! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! If we are doing an in home newborn session wear light colors and no busy patterns! Some websites I love for mom clothes: Pinkblush, Petallush, Baltic Born, ThreeBirdNest, Feeling a bit extra (which I love) check out Joyfolie
For your kids check out: Roolee, H&M
What are the locations I can choose?
I have four locations that I use:
The reason I use these locations are because I know them well and I can get the best photos for you and your family. If you click the word, you will be able to see galleries for each of the locations!
If you like more open space, grassy, warmer and sunnnier, Fort Ord is your spot! If you’re looking for beach, the other two locations are perfect for you. The differences between the two are that Ribera Beach is more rocky and Carmel River state beach has more bird, sand, and is generally more open. I prefer Carmel River State Beach with small kids. At this point I do not have any other locations. If you don’t mind a bit of a drive and want gorgeous untouched beach with incredible green hills, Garrapata beach is for you!
